Dr. Thomas S. Leary papers, 1938-1977.

The collection consists of one scrapbook containing a variety of clippings and photographs of the achievements and history of Dr. Leary. Diplomas from Iowa State University and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Dr. Leary's application brochure for the office of McNeese president, and an April 1970 Port of Lake Charles Magazine article featuring Leary are also included.

Dr. Thomas Samuel Leary, born on May 8, 1915, in Rochester, New York, was a resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana, since November 1955. Dr. Leary was married to Mrs. Geraldine Leary and had two daughters, Patricia and Kathleen. He died in Lake Charles on September 9, 1984. His educational achievements included Bachelor of Chemical Engineering and Master of Science degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute of Troy, New York.
